The Gaggia Anima is here, and makes a great introductory yet powerful countertop machine!

Finally available in Canada, the Gaggia Anima is a great compromise between price, features, and quality from renowned Italian manufacturer Gaggia. This straightforward bean to cup machine concentrates on being good at one thing, making espresso, and succeeds wonderfully. The powerful 15 bar pump, combined with Gaggia’s trademark removable brew group, means that this machine is built from the ground up to be high quality and long lasting.

The Anima also incorporates other features from higher end Gaggia machines, like the 5 setting ceramic burr grinder, guaranteed to grind beans consistently and coolly. You can control more than the grinds, with a programmable temperature feature (177-184F), coffee strength with the Optiaroma dosing system (6.5-11.5 grams), and set pre-infusion times. You can even brew coffee already ground elsewhere with the Ground Coffee Bypass feature, perfect for friends who prefer decaf or flavoured coffees, without tainting your machine’s grinding unit!

HIGH CAPACITY

The Gaggia Anima is equipped with 2 high capacity containers for water (1.75L) and coffee beans (250gr). This allows for many drinks served before requiring a refill.

PROFESSIONAL MILK STEAMER

Just like a real Barista you can steam your own milk with this professional pannarello steam wand. Foam up a pitcher of froth milk to make your own latte’s and cappuccinos, or alternatively use it to dispense hot water for teas, americanos, and other hot drinks.

REMOVABLE PATENTED BREWING GROUP

The heart of the machine, and a Gaggia-invented standard. The removable brew group extends the life of the machine by allowing you to clean it manually without having to take it in for servicing.

CERAMIC BURR GRINDER

Anima is equipped with a robust 100% ceramic grinder that turns beans into a fine powder and extracts maximum flavours, without ever tasting burnt. It has 5 different settings of grind that grant you the finest grind for a full-bodied espresso or a coarser grind for a lighter tasting coffee.

PROGRAMMABLE DISPENSING SYSTEM

Each drink can be fully customized and you can store your preferred settings per coffee and milk beverages for future brews, such as strength, temperature and length of extraction.

OPTIAROMA

You can select and store in memory the amount of coffee ground required for your perfect Espresso: 5 options available, ranging from 6.5-11.5 grams, to adjust the coffee strength to your taste.

PROGRAMMABLE PRE-INFUSION

A programmable amount of wetting that occurs between the first shower of hot water and the brewing process moisturises the coffee grounds, extracting the full bouquet of aromas, giving your Espresso a unique body and taste.

GAGGIA ADAPTIVE SYSTEM

The innovative technology of the Gaggia Adapting System adjusts the grinding process, making sure the selected quantity of ground coffee is used for your espresso, whatever blend you choose. Just like a professional barista.
